What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

My “keep calm and plan on” binder handmade for me by my little sister was a life savior. My photographer even got a picture of it on our wedding day. By that time letters were missing from the cover! The binder was a perfect way to keep all my details and vendors organized and all my important info easily accessible.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

I really valued the reviews posted by prior brides. Picking a vendor is no easy task but having the opportunity to read reviews from prior brides about their experiences helped ease my concerns.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

I really wanted a winter feel since my wedding was in December. Even though I live in florida, I still wanted my wedding to reflect the sparkle of winter. I loved using white and silver to replicate the elegance of the season. I was also able to use crystals in the the flower arrangements and lightly glittered tablecloths to tie the entire look together. The crystal candle holders helped too. Another important tool in creating the look I was going for was uplighting. I loved how the blue uplifting in the reception completely transformed the space. All in all I would say the charm of winter could be felt in the room.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

The best thing about my wedding was marrying my best friend in front of God, our family and our closest friends.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Keep calm and plan on and yes, it will all be worth it because your wedding day is truly magical!

That is some excellent advice! And I don’t know about you, but I’m loving the all white with glittery silver accents… perfect for this time of year, don’t you think?
