Taking place under a sea of stars, Victoria and Jesse’s New Year’s Eve wedding was absolutely overflowing with vintage glam beauty! An aisle of vintage sofas and chairs, antique clocks, handmade party hats, and shining chandeliers are just a few of the details that were captured perfectly by Jillian Tree Photography, and lucky for us, we get to soak it all in today! The gorgeous bride Victoria is here with us sharing more about the planning of her beautiful day…
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
Terese Nipon and my mother, pretty much helped me plan my dream wedding! Terese is a retired party/wedding planner and my mom’s best friend :) I have always known I wanted her to help me plan the wedding of my dreams.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
Vintage meets glamours was my inspiration. Since it was a NYE wedding I wanted a lot of gold and sparkle! I also love antiques and the whole shabby chic look.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
One of my favorite things about the wedding was definitely the outside black and white dance floor under the huge oak tree with the chandelier hanging from it.
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
One piece of advice for brides is to have fun planning your wedding, it can be stressful, and it is easy to get caught up in the small details, try not to loose sight of the big picture; your marrying your best friend in front of your closest family and friends!
Such great advice- thank you for sharing Victoria! And how FUN is this New Year’s Eve wedding? I for one LOVE the idea of combining the celebration of your marriage with the celebration of a new year! Any excuse for sparkle is fine by me!
So tell me- would you consider a New Year’s Eve wedding? Why or why not?
