Today is Memorial Day, in case you’ve been living under a rock. ;) Hey, if you didn’t know, I don’t blame you- I don’t always know when the “holidays” are. But in light of this holiday that is meant to commemorate those in the military who have served the United States, I just had to post something. The US military is way too close to my heart to not (if you don’t know, my brother has been in the Army for 10 years). And so, I wanted to share “The Gratitude Campaign” with all of you…
I’m sure many of you have seen this video, but I hadn’t seen it until about 2 weeks ago. I’m always seeing military men and women in the airport, and want to say something to them because I know what they have gone through. But of course I usually chicken out. Until I heard about The Gratitude Campaign.
So this Memorial Day, truly remember why we have this “3 day weekend”- because of the United States military. I challenge you to thank a member of the military sometime this week. A little of our gratitude for a lot of their service- it’s the least we can do…because our support really does keep them going. :)
