Below is an estimation for what a very basic, “simple and pretty” 100 guest wedding would cost in North Carolina.

Please note: This is JUST an estimation to show average price points for the various elements needed for a wedding, and does not include any “bells and whistles”. This should not be considered an exact representation of all North Carolina weddings, as each wedding is unique to the couple and their preferences!

Venue: $3,500

(ceremony and reception capable)

Food and Beverage: $9,500

(buffet, beer and wine only, staffing, service charges, etc.)

Florals & Decor: $3,000

(bouquets, bouts, ceremony design, reception design, uplighting, etc.)

Linens/Rentals: $1,500

(linens for F&B, guest tables, napkins.  A mix of poly and some specialty upgraded linens.)

Photographer: $3,500

(engagement session, bridal session, 8 hours on wedding day, second shooter, all digital files)

Cinematographer: $3,000

Month-of Planner: $2,000

(This is what Leigh Pearce charges for this service and she is  the most expensive in the area. There are a lot of great planners locally that charge less.)

Paper Goods: $1,400

(invite, outer envelope, reception card, response card, response envelope, programs, calligraphy, misc. items)

Entertainment/Music: $1150-3500

Hair & Makeup: $260 + tip

(hair and makeup day of and trial run)

Transportation:  $450

Cake: $750

Ceremony Costs: $400

TOTAL: $30,410


Not included in above total but recommended:

Dress: $2,000
