Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?

Our style is definitely more modern and conceptually driven. Our design background was actually in Fashion Design and Fine Art, so we approach event design & florals in much the same way as creating a fashion collection or art installation. Most importantly, we want to highlight our couple's personal aesthetic and values through their wedding design.

What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?

At this moment it's the neon and floral wall installation we did at a recent event!

What is your favorite store or brand?

I have an unhealthy love of IKEA. Great design on a dime... I can't resist! I used to be much more into designer fashion, but these days it's all about creating spaces that feel energizing and unique!

What advice do you have for a newly engaged couple?

I encourage all recently engaged couples to work together and create a list of priorities individually, and then together that they will use as a roadmap for their budget and planning decisions!

What is your favorite thing about weddings?

One thing to know about me (Erica) is that I am always excited to meet new people and make friends. The best part about weddings is getting to do that week in and week out while also collaborating with other creatives to create gorgeous, personalized events for our couples.

What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?

I am many things, but the most important for this work is that I am a people person through and through. I am super extroverted, enthusiastic, and ready to be your champion, friend, and coach. I am not super "type-A" (though some of my team members are), I am more of a creative problem solver and love designing systems to keep everyone on track and on the same page. My design background and years of experience with fashion, interior design, theater, have given me an excellent set of skills that translate to both coordinating events as well as designing them! My fine art and design background also plays a big role in how I approach floral design, that combined with eco-friendly design technique and prioritizing locally sourced blooms when possible!

What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?

We want to foster a sense of connection and friendship with our couples. Logistically speaking, we utilize collaborative tools, automation technology, and a modern apporach to our planning process that ensures details are not overlooked and that everyone is on the same page. When it comes to the wedding day, couples have a trusted team of coordinators to support them through the event and make sure everything flows smoothly!
