Emily and Don hosted their gorgeously elegant pink and black wedding at Orange County’s Segerstrom Center for the Arts with the assistance of the oh-so-fabulous LVL Weddings & Events. What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
Lindsay with LVL events was my wedding planner and she was the best, I loved her!
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
The most important thing when choosing my planner was that they seemed knowledgable, organized, easy to get along with, and flexible enough to allow me to make my own decisions.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
My inspiration was just something that I’d always imagined since I was very young. I always wanted a FORMAL wedding, close friends and family, and GORGEOUS decor.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
My favorite thing about my wedding was the entire day, start to finish. I loved the first look with my husband, I loved dancing on the dance floor with our friends and our amazing band, I loved our choreographed first dance, and the food was absolutely amazing!
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
My best piece of advice for brides is to get a planner! You want to be free to enjoy the day, and enjoy time with friends and family- not worry about anything else.
Emily and Don’s wedding has lots of amazing details, but one of my favorite details is their G.I.V.E. boxes. In lieu of gifts they had their guests donate to the top 3 charities they hold near to their hearts. I have always loved the idea of giving to a great cause!
