Happy Friday everyone! I am so excited to share Chris and Elizabeth’s wedding from Pure7Studios with you today! It’s filled with fun shades of blue, orange, and teal, super sweet details, and some gorgeous moments between the bride and groom!
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
We live in Atlanta and our wedding took place in WaterColor, Florida so the distance was a challenge with some things but between my mom (who lives in WaterColor) and Cheryl, our coordinator, I knew everything would be great. My mom and I are very close so I trusted her 100%. And Cheryl did such a great job putting all the pieces together that our wedding day was worry free… And that is saying a lot for me because I tend to be very type-a.
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
We were able to meet with a few potential vendors before we made the decision and I really just went with who I clicked with and felt like they were excited about the vision we had for our wedding. My parents also had some local references so those were definitely good insights as well.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
We really wanted our wedding to be a big celebration and wanted it to reflect the two of us. Also the water has been important to us from the beginning of our relationship and to both of our families so we wanted a little nautical twist. One morning a little ways into the planning I was starting to get a little overwhelmed with it all and I saw a little Anthropologie pouch on my dresser and that became the inspiration. My mom and I both carried them around in our purses until the wedding day.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
My favorite thing is just how much fun we had! So many of our family and friends were there and we felt so loved. And Cheryl took all the stress off of us so we could just relax and enjoy the day. And our band was the best! We still talk about what a great day it was!
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
Make it a day you will love! Don’t worry about what you think you should have or if there might be something better out there. If you and your fiancé love it, it will truly be the perfect day for the two of you and in the end that is what is important.
How sweet was that wedding? Truly! And I love her advice! “Make it a day you will love!”.
What are you doing to make sure you will be head over heels for your wedding day?
Can’t wait to hear all about it!
Cheers!
Samm
