Wildflowers, bright colors, burlap, and lace make this rustic chic wedding beautiful and just oh-so-charming. A stunning location creates the perfect rustic backdrop for Stephanie and Ross’s colorful wedding, and Woodland Fields Photography captured it all perfectly! The lovely bride Stephanie is here with us today sharing some her insights:
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
Aside from keeping the vendors within budget, the most important thing to me was making sure they’d be reliable and provide a good product. On deciding who I would work with, some vendors I decided on because of what I heard through friends; for others, I read their reviews online.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
I really wanted a rustic chic look for the decor. I love the combination of wildflower bouquets with burlap and lace.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
My favorite thing about our wedding was the location and the band. The venue we chose has a hotel attached, so a lot of the guests stayed onsite. It was fun getting to hang out with everyone for the weekend rather than just at the wedding. The venue also provided the catering and their food was amazing. The band is what kept the party going; they had everyone dancing! I’d hire them again in a heartbeat.
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
The best advice I can give to other brides is to start early. There will be a lot more to do than it seems at the beginning, but don’t get overwhelmed. It’s so fun!
How amazing is that exit? Talk about a last minute wow factor! Are you planning on doing an exit for your own wedding? What will you be doing?
