I’ve decided to feature two weddings today because I have SO many ready to go- so welcome to wedding #2 for today! This wedding from Hillary Maybery is gorgeously romantic, with fun hawaiian elements infused throughout. Bringing a little bit of Hawaii to Idaho, the bride even did a hawaiian dance during the ceremony!

What a FUN cake and candy buffet! It’s making me drool just looking at those last photos! And the tables are a nice change- they’re 2 eight foot tables pushed together, making a squarish rectangle. It’s actually one of my preferences for tables, and a way to mix things up a little bit from *normal* weddings. Thank you for sharing this wedding with us Hillary!

The colors are bright and beautiful, and the favors on the tables- jam I believe- there’s nothing like a take-home and savor favor! Absolutely gorgeous work! Thanks for sharing this wedding with us Caitlin!

This orange and aqua inspiration is another one that I *thought* I had already done and posted, but as it turns out, I never did! I’ve always loved orange and aqua together- it’s so fun and bright! To me, it gives a sort of retro feel, but overall it’s just really eclectic and chic.

Row 1: Centerpiece, Cake, Vintage Plate, Invitation, Table

Row 2: Bottles, Aisle, Groom, Napkin

Row 3: Menu, Bridesmaids, Pillow Seating, Necklace

Orange and aqua can really go well in any season- I immediately think of spring or summer, as many do, but use more orange and just accent with the aqua, and it’s perfect for fall! And for some reason there always seems to be super cool things in these colors, like fabric, dresses, jewelry, etc! Who’s using these colors for their wedding? What are your favorite colors to be paired with aqua or orange?

This California DIY wedding from Katie Keller Photography is absolutely adorable and looks like it was tons of fun!

A few words from Katie:

“This was a completely DIY wedding put together by the bride and groom. The bride made everything from the centerpieces to the table runners to the favors. The groom set up the tents, tables, and chairs. All the details were put together by the bride. They even made all the food and baked their own cake, so that their guests could enjoy a “pool party” style wedding. The best part – after the ceremony when the husband and wife jumped into the pool in their wedding clothes!”

The bride’s dress is simply gorgeous without being too overdone, and I love the use of the yellow and green! So fun! And the bride and groom jumping the pool? Definitely a “pool party” style wedding- what a great idea! Thanks for sharing this wedding with us Katie!
