This next look in the “Floral Print Wedding Ideas” miniseries from Mikkel Paige and Roey Mizrahi Events is stunning. Mismatched floral print china, lace doilies, and mercury glass are just a few of the elements that make this tablescape perfectly vintage…

From Roey:

“Vintage” was conveyed through the use of mismatched floral printed china, to which we had combined with lace doilies surrounding the centerpiece to appear as an incomplete table runner, gold vintage flatware, and mixed mercury votive candles to add warmth. The centerpiece was very delicate and rested in water in a vintage glass chaffing/casserole dish.  Every element had a purpose and was relatable. I wanted this table to feel like you someone could create it themselves using everything from their grandparents kitchen, creating something very distinguished and effortless about it. The floral printed fabric ribbon that secured the silverware together was an additional accent supporting the concept and how to further integrate it in this theme.

I love everything about this vintage look! What Roey described above is right- it seems so put together, yet effortless at the same time. The epitome of vintage, right?

So what do you think of the vintage look for this Floral Print miniseries?

Filled with bright colors and personal details, this Nashville wedding photographed by The Collection that takes place at Historic Cedarwood is a beautiful mix of country and vintage style. Cowboy boots, birdcages, lace, and burlap are just a few of the elements that help carry out the unique country vintage style.  And the lovely bride Meredith was kind enough to tell us all about her wedding planning experience, so sit back and enjoy this lovely wedding! Historic Cedarwood helped me most in the wedding planning process; their exceptional staff was truly with me each step of the way in planning the details of our special day.

A likable, friendly, competent wedding planner was certainly on the top of my list for putting my visions into action for my wedding day. The vintage atmosphere of the venue was also a huge selling point.

My inspiration for our Nashville wedding in a barn setting was a mix of “elegant vintage” and “pure country.” Combining the two ideas really added an element of intrigue to the feel of our wedding. It was also important to me to in some way incorporate “Italy” into our wedding details, as my husband and I moved to Italy immediately following our honeymoon for his 3-year military assignment there.

My favorite thing about my wedding was the historic altar arch (beneath which we got married) and pews that came from the old Ryman theater; I thought it added such a rich feel of history to our Nashville ceremony.

My best piece of advice for other brides is to relax and enjoy every moment of planning your wedding….. After all, if you do it right, this time in your life only comes around once, and you want to cherish all the memories, even the less-than-perfect ones!♥

I love the combination of country and vintage styles- it’s so beautiful! And the personal details are my favorite of course- especially the tables named after places in the couple’s new home, Italy!

Are any of you going to be incorporating something personal in your details? What will you be doing?

From Roey:

For each of the five different themes, I tried to showcase the concept of “Floral Print” in an untraditional way, not always showcasing it as the main element but as a complimentary one that brought cohesion amongst the entire set up.

I chose to focus on wood for the “Rustic” theme. Wood table, wood chairs, wooden slabs and rounds to act as placemats and further table decor. The wooden table number and wooden sign that read “Happily ever after” were added elements to personalize the overall theme and truly complete the rustic chic picnic vibe I was trying to execute.  It was very simplistic and somewhat minimalist but all the elements combined really encompassed the rustic ambience. The centerpiece was a vintage wooden crate box of a chaotic blend of flowers that fit perfectly with this theme. The floral printed element was weaved in, through the floral paper straws, as well as a floral invitation suite, menu and place card that adorned the table.

I love the way that Roey used the wood elements and incorporated the floral print in a subtle way. I can’t wait for you all to see the rest of the looks from this fabulous miniseries!

I love the Mexico-inspired theme and the modern style! And the details are all fabulous, but I definitely think my favorite detail is the tequila shots as escort cards! How much fun is that?!

So what do you think of this Mexico-inspired wedding inspiration? Will any of you be drawing your inspiration from another culture?
