You won’t be able to help but fall in love with this couple and their gorgeous yacht club wedding. Jake and Amanda’s love story is certainly one for the books- Amanda, a news anchor, was sent to cover the story of soldiers returning home from deployment… one of whom was an Army Ranger named Jake, and I suppose you can say the rest is history! Lucky for us, Hunter Ryan Photo captured this outstanding couple’s wedding day, and we get the honor of reliving it along with them!

There is just SO much love and beauty in this wedding- and we can’t forget about the fabulous nautical details too!

When this red, white, and blue rehearsal dinner landed in my inbox, I just knew I had to share it with you all! After all, we are just a few days away from July 4th, and I can’t think of any other way to celebrate than with the fabulous design and bold colors of this couple’s July 4th themed rehearsal dinner! Typically couples tend to stray away from holiday weekends when it comes to getting married, but these two embraced it- and I’m so glad they did! Alante Photography captured the handiwork of wedding planner Aisle of View wonderfully, and you won’t be able to do anything but smile (and want to celebrate) when you see this bold and beautiful rehearsal dinner!

Isn’t it all SO fun?! That’s what a rehearsal dinner is all about- fun and celebration! Having just recently designed my brother’s rehearsal dinner, I also realized that there isn’t too much inspiration out there for this integral wedding weekend event, so I’m of course more than happy to be sharing this and inspiring you all!

Marjory and Keith chose the beautiful waterside location of Boca Grande’s Gasparilla Inn Beach Club for their nautical navy, pink and white wedding. Wanting a day with a casual yet romantic tone, it was the perfect option for this water loving couple! Lucky for us, one of our favorites, Concept Photography, was there to capture all of the beautiful moments, details, and scenery!

What inspired your vision for the wedding?

We both grew up being on the water, fishing and boating. We knew we wanted a more casual feel to our special day but still having those romantic elements. We choose the location of Boca Grande because my family has a condo there and it has always been a second home to me. Our vision was something of a nautical look, incorporating the colors navy and white while showcasing the beauty of the island and the water.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

One of our most memorable moments was while Keith and I were lighting our unity candle. Just seeing all the family and friends we love that came from near and far to share this day with us was very special. Another memorable moment for us was when Keith and I drove together in our golf cart from the church to the reception at the Beach Club. It gave us a few minutes alone together after just being pronounced husband and wife before the party!

What was your favorite design element?

Our favorite elements were the navy and white nautical accents as well as the personalization elements that made our wedding special and unique to us.

Love how the nautical theme reflected Marjory and Keith so perfectly! That’s the best kind of wedding design- when people look at it, and just *know* they see the couple in the design!

Romantic and inspired by the natural elements of the ocean and it’s surroundings, this unique take on beach wedding ideas from Monika Gauthier Photography is absolutely gorgeous! Shades of blue, champagne, cream, and gold represent the sky, ocean, and sand, creating an ocean inspired look that is every bit relaxing as it is beautiful.

I love this different take on the “typical” beach wedding! The calming, muted colors, the simplistic-yet gorgeous- design, and the general tone and feel of this whole look is just perfect, don’t you think?
