An Elegant Garden-Inspired Alabama Wedding

Caroline and Dalton’s rustic Alabama wedding was full of elegant garden-inspired details. Their ceremony took place under a gazebo with lush garlands and soft pink florals making the perfect setting for their lovely wedding day.

Though their reception was in a divided space, they kept the design consistent with an elegant garden feel and subtle rustic touches. We love the long feasting farm table with greenery running the length of the tables with pops of blooms and glowing candlelight. They used a mix of eclectic centerpieces to round out the remaining guest tables, including terrarium-style dome centerpieces. And large chandelier hanging in the center of the tent was the perfect elegant detail that gave this space an extra wow-factor!

The style for Caroline and Dalton’s day is simple and sweet, and Becky’s Brides pulled together every detail in the most beautiful way. We also love that they let us in on the fact that the meal they shared with guests was full of yummy breakfast foods so the guests could enjoy “Breakfast at Pattersons” (the couple’s new last name). Allison Lewis Photography captured so many beautiful moments, and we’re thrilled to share Caroline and Dalton’s day with you!

Our favorite detail is definitely the draped background for their beautiful wedding cake. The lush greenery garland framing the draping is absolutely beautiful, and created the perfect focal point for the space!

Caitlyn and Daniel’s Alabama warehouse wedding was equal parts rustic and romantic, and the mix of styles could not have been more beautiful. The blush pink florals made a big statement, softening the dark wood of the venue, and we love how the couple incorporated string lights to create the perfect twinkling ceremony backdrop. From the simple, yet elegant details in the stationery, to the three hanging wreaths over the cake, we just can’t pinpoint our favorite detail. Although, it’s pretty hard to beat the pure joy that radiated from Caitlyn and Daniel as they celebrated their “I dos!”

Sweet Julep Photography captured every perfect detail that this couple dreamt up, and we are so excited to share a few words from the bride as she gave us a little look behind the scenes of her wedding day.

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

I had two women who really helped me with all things wedding. Sarah Peinhardt, plans events and weddings on the side and helped with the overall design and vision for my wedding. I gave her access to my wedding Pinterest board and she took all my ideas and brought them to life. The second person was Susan Newman. She stepped up and took on the role of handling the day of execution. She was also a great resource for questions and looking over details.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

I made sure to do my homework. I mean, here I was planning the best day of my life. I wasn’t going to settle for Googling vendors and going with the first one that popped up. I looked into everyone we booked, checked out previous work they’d done and also reached out to references.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

I relied a lot on Pinterest and magazines. We picked more of a rustic venue for my husband, and because of that, I wanted to glitz the venue into a very romantic, welcoming atmosphere.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

Marrying my best friend and having all our friends and family there to celebrate such a special day.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

Take it all in stride.

We love the impeccable style and easy-going attitude of this couple, and the way they celebrated their day truly made it the best day ever!

Nestled under the tall mossy trees of Cypress Grove Estate House, Sandra and Geoffrey exchanged their vows among family and friends in this classic Florida wedding. Their style was full of romantic details- from the rose-filled bouquets to the red and pink color palette, we just love how it played into the beautiful setting of the day.

An eclectic mix of old books, soft blooms, and potted succulents for the table settings were the perfect compliment to the vintage pieces used for the sweetheart table and cake set-up. We are also a fan of the custom calligraphy found throughout the wedding day, creating sweet statement pieces in their design. RW Events did a beautiful job styling the most perfect details of the day, and we are just loving the way Tara Libby Photography brought the day to life. We hope you enjoy!

How sweet is this wedding? We love the special little detail found in the first seat at their ceremony honoring family members that have passed away. Such a perfect tribute to those they love.

When Jennifer and Jason set out to select a venue for their California vineyard wedding day, they were looking for something that provided a warm Tuscan feel, and they found exactly that in Jacuzzi Family Vineyards. Pairing the stone and wood accents of their setting with elegant glam details was completely unexpected, and with the guidance of Elegant Events, it came together in the most beautiful fashion.

A bright purple color palette created a bold statement in both the ceremony and reception spaces, and we love the unique mix of florals that were found throughout the day. With centerpieces dripping with crystals, elegant table settings, and lush orchid-filled arrangements at every turn, this style truly brought the wow factor for guests, and Heather Scharf Photography‘s imagery really brought all of the stunning details to life.

It’s clear to us that Jennifer and Jason were looking to bring the party with the way they styled their day- it was the perfect invitation for a fun celebration. Not to mention, they chose to welcome guests to their seats by having mini bottles of wine at each place setting!
