Below is an estimation for what a very basic, “simple and pretty” 100 guest wedding would cost in Santa Barbara.

Please note: This is JUST an estimation to show average price points for the various elements needed for a wedding, and does not include any “bells and whistles”. This should not be considered an exact representation of all Santa Barbara weddings, as each wedding is unique to the couple and their preferences!

Venue Rental: $8,000 to $12,000 (for a vineyard or barn)

Food and Beverage: $15,000 (for appetizers and a 3 course plated meal)

Rentals (Basic needs): $6,000

Florals & Decor: $3,500 (Simple centerpiece of single stem of tulips in various vases; bridal party of 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen)

Linens: $1,200 (Basic)

Photographer: $4,000 to $6,000

Cinematography: $4,000 to $6,000

Month-of Planner: $2,000 to $3,500 (For a good one! You can get them cheaper, but you get what you pay for.)

Transportation: $2,000 (Shuttles for 100 guests to a remote location, which is common in the area)

Entertainment: $2,000 for DJ and $10,000 for a band

Hair & Makeup: $500 (Bride only- including travel fees)

Cake: $500

Paper Goods: $1,200

Ceremony Costs: $500

TOTAL: $50,400 to $67,900

 
Not included in above but recommended:

Dress: $3000
