Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?

I love everything about weddings - from the classic to the earthy and beyond. I categorize myself as a modern photographer because of the emphasis I place on real moments and natural interactions with some guidance and direction. I shoot fashion photography as well, so I look for my brides to have modern, fashion-forward images to remember the beauty of their wedding day.

What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?

Seriously? I couldn't possibly choose just one! My favorite part about being a photographer is that I'm constantly surrounded by creative people - from brides, to vendors and venues! I am usually seen hopping from detail to detail at a reception "ooh"ing and "aah"ing over everything!

What is your favorite store or brand?

If I could live in one store, it would be Sephora :) or Kate Spade. Or the Apple store. Or Target (why can you NEVER leave there without spending $200?!). I guess I have a problem with committing to any one favorite of anything!

What advice do you have for a newly engaged couple?

Book your photographer right after your venue! We book really quick and we often limit the number of weddings we take in a year because of the amount of hours spent in pre-wedding work and post-processing. I'm always sad to turn brides away when I know how excited they were to use me for their photographer.

What is your favorite thing about weddings?

When I get to just take the bride and groom alone for photos! It's the perfect time to just settle down and take in the day and that little bit of private time between the 2 of them!

What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?

I connect really well with couples and have a great sense of reading people - this helps me work with them to create the most beautifully natural moments during our shoot!

What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?

Our couples put so much trust in us to make sure their day is perfect, we would go to the ends of the earth for them! We just want them to know that we're on their team - whether it be grabbing them a drink, or making sure the timing of the day let's them get the best photos and still enjoy their guests - it's all about them having the wedding experience they want!
