Rustic Elegant Peach and White Wedding

Hints of rustic southern charm mixed with an elegant style created the perfect peach and white wedding for Kellie and Cliff. This gorgeous couple has known each other since childhood, and something about their wedding details, captured by Korie Lynn Photography, truly makes you feel their love. Kellie is here with us today sharing more about her wedding and the planning process…

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

My matron of honor (who was also coincidentally my photographer, Korie Lynn) helped me most throughout the entire wedding/planning process- ESPECIALLY on our wedding day. She is AMAZING and wore so many hats that day. I’m blessed to have her as a friend.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

I just really wanted to work with people who had a clear vision of what we wanted our wedding day to look like (both aesthetics and scheduling). Making an awesome Pintrest board definitely helped with sharing our vision.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

Ultimately our inspiration was to have a day that my husband and I could look back on and remember how beautiful it was- not because of the “stuff” or the physical beauty of it all, but because it was the day we chose to commit ourselves to one another for the rest of our lives.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

That’s a loaded question! I definitely loved our venue and the flexibility we had to really tailor each detail to who “we” as a couple are.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

I believe that your wedding day is about one thing only. Unfortunately it can be hard to see the “one thing” through all the planning, scheduling, financing, and (let’s face it) tears; however, your big day is about the new life you are about to start with your husband. For us, we believe that if you trust God first, then love each other, you can defeat any challenge or fear that may come your way.

Beautiful advice Kellie, I couldn’t agree more! Your wedding is supposed to be all about love and the new life you and your spouse are about to embark on. Although the perfect centerpieces may seem like the most important thing while planning, be sure to remember what its all about and really enjoy your special day.
