Modern Bold & Bright Southern-Inspired Wedding Ideas

A mix of bold black and white stripes with a bright pop of oranges, yellows, and green made for a beautiful modern style with hints of Southern charm. This team of vendors, though located in Canada, found themselves inspired by the sweet details regularly found in Southern-inspired weddings.

Boasting bright colors, bold patterns, citrusy nods, monogram details, and a big ballgown with clean and simple lines, the crisp modern style of these wedding ideas mix beautifully with the elegant space. We love how the stationery, created by Cheer Up Letterpress Co., set the stage for the entire style. The watercolor monogramed crest tied in citrus details and bold colors, while sticking to a classically Southern style.

The classic bridal style alongside bold blooms were a perfect match to that first look provided by the invitations. The bright oranges and yellows parlayed well with the oranges in the crest, and we love how the crest detail carried through the design, and made an appearance on the cake trio by Pearls and Spice. The simple and modern tabletop style created a beautiful balance to the bright and organic nature of the florals designed by Dandie Andie Floral Designs. This mix of styles created such a fun and cheerful style, and Spunky Sapphire Events did a beautiful job tying all of the details together.
