Our styled shoot began with our models/real life couple, Jeff and Sarah Simmons, seeking help to host a fundraiser for their pending domestic adoption. I was eager to assist them in planning their event. As I began to gather vendors, I realized that a great way to thank the vendors for their work would be with a styled shoot featuring their efforts. Luckily, Jeff and Sarah just happen to be stunning! We were able to create a beautiful shoot that flawlessly transitioned into their evening dinner and silent auction. Every time Jennifer Thompson, Feather+Oak, and I collaborate on a styled shoot, we walk away wishing we could put the gorgeous decor to use and this time we did!

The venue, GranDale Manor, is a classic Southern home with a twist, it was a part of the Underground Railroad during the Civil War. After being neglected for years, the current owners completely restored the home in 2011 and kept the Greek Revival design intact.
