The rain from a hurricane did not put a damper on this couple’s North Carolina wedding day by any means. With incredible moments of raw emotion- from tears streaming to big smiles and contagious laughter- it was clear that this day of celebration was full of immense joy, and we love how Caroline Lima Photography did not miss a beat in capturing the flurry of emotions that ran throughout the day.
Alannah and Gabriel’s style matched the beauty of their personalities. With deep red and berry tones and a cool pop of navy, we love how their strong color palette was the perfect compliment to the rich wood tones of their reception style. They incorporated subtle leaf detailing throughout their design from the invitations to the escort cards designed by I Can Do That Design, which were perfectly complimented by the loose and organic feel of the florals created by Flowers on Broad Street. Every detail carried a big impact, and C and D Events executed the day in the most beautiful way!
We love the personal touches that this couple chose to commemorate this special day that they shared with those they treasure the most. We love that they opted against a traditional guestbook and instead chose to have guests sign little wooden hearts that they dropped into a frame so they may always cherish those who were present with them on the day they began their journey of marriage.
Will you plan to use a non-traditional guestbook at your wedding? If so, we’d love to hear your ideas!
