An evening of garden elegance had no shortage of beautiful and intentional details that created Sydney and Brandon’s romantic Temecula wedding day. From the simple and elegant place settings, the lush white florals from Carla Kayes, and pops of gold in their neutral color palette set the tone for a classy evening celebrating this sweet couple.
Pulling the final details together, Michelle Garibay Events helped create a stress-free environment as they navigated the final moments to their “I Dos.” With a talented vendor team, and the gorgeous photos captured by Jenna Joseph Photography, every moment was executed with great intentionality.
From the “kid’s activity teepee” to the tequila toast, Sydney and Brandon were prepared to celebrate, and they created the most joyful day with family and friends!
Tell us a little a bit about your wedding.
I wanted it to be an all white, classy affair under the stars with the same magical elements that the proposal had. I chose an outdoor venue to give us an enchanted forest vibe and covered it with white flowers and natural leaves, candles, and chandeliers. It was romantic and whimsical.
What was the most important to the two of you while planning? Was there anything that you chose to splurge on or skip?
The most important thing to both of us was making sure we and our guests had the night of a lifetime. I wanted to make sure people could feel the love through the romantic vibe of the candles and flowers, the music, and dancing. We definitely splurged on top shelf open bar and decor and we went with a Gelato bar instead of the traditional expensive cake. We also had a late night snack bar around 11 pm!
What were your favorite parts of the day?
One of my favorite parts was the first look earlier in the day. It made me feel so happy and comforted to see Brandon before the ceremony and have our special time together away from everyone else. My other favorite part was when we surprised all the guests with glow wands and music activated glow bracelets once the party got going during the song “Light it up” by Major Lazer.
Please describe any DIY, handmade, or personal details.
We did a tribute to those celebrating from heaven or home and included an armoire with pictures of family members (and pets!) who couldn’t be there in person. We also had bins of sandals and shawls for people to be more comfortable during the party!

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
Everyone from my parents to Brandon’s parents, my bridesmaids, and my sister were so helpful in making sure the day went smoothly and that I was happy!
We just love how they carefully selected the areas to be a little more traditional, and where they wanted to be different when it came to planning their wedding. We love the gelato cart and the glow stick party they created, and we love that it seemed to fit their personalities so perfectly!
Are there any traditions you plan to break from on your wedding day?
