An Elegant Pink & White Brooklyn Wedding

A waterfront ceremony at the famed Prospect Park Boathouse was the perfect setting for Rachel and Joe’s Brooklyn wedding celebration. They couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day in New York, as they gathered with friends and family in the simple and serene location. We love that they allowed the space to really speak for itself as they kept the details simple in order to highlight the beauty around them. 

The bride’s style was fashion-forward, while keeping her look classic and timeless. She chose an incredible lace and chiffon Reem Acra gown, and accessorized with simple pearl earrings, a gold metallic clutch, and geometric low-heel shoes which truly emphasized her fashionable personality. The groom wore a classic black tux from Theory Tuxedo, and we love the colorful pops that the boutonniere added to his traditional wedding style.

A detail that we loved for this summer wedding was the all white attire for the bridesmaids. It created such a clean and simple look, and really allowed the bright pink bouquets created by Sachi Rose Designs to add a fun colorful pop. The colorful touches continued through the design of the day with beautiful blooms that complimented the neutral architecture of their venue.

There is so much beauty to take in from this wedding, and we absolutely love how Mikkel Paige Photography brought every moment to life with her stunning imagery! Enjoy!

Another fun detail, and the true icing on the cake, was their 5-tier wedding cake. Created by one of Rachel’s best friends, and bridesmaid, their naked wedding cake towered with beautiful blooms tucked into the layers and accenting the delicious gift that was created for their wedding day.
