From the moment I saw the first image from this wedding by Cyn Kain Photography, I fell in love with its character. The beautiful bride, meaningful and sweet details, photobooth fun and a stunning backdrop. It has all of the elements that make a wedding personal and memorable.
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
The thing that helped me most throughout the planning process was knowing that no matter what, at the end of the day I was going to be married to my best friend. It was easy to get caught up in the small details (and believe me, I did!), but just knowing the bigger picture helped me relax and realize that everything would go perfectly!
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
In deciding who to work with for our wedding, the most important thing was being able to make a sincere connection. All of our vendors were so wonderful and made us feel like old friends!
Did any of your vendors do anything special for you before, on, or after your wedding day that you would like to share?
Cynthia Kain (our photographer) is the BEST. During the whole process, she was such a great friend (and still is!). One thing that makes her stand apart is that after our wedding when she sent us our DVD of the images, she included a personalized gift set that included: a personalized picture frame with our wedding date, his and her owl-shaped sugar cookies (Cyn uses an owl in her logo), and a sweet card. She went out of her way to make us feel so special!
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
My favorite thing about our wedding was that it was in Asheville (one of our favorite places), on a mountain (we love the mountains) and in November (the best month!). Our outdoor ceremony was beautiful and overlooked the entire city. From downtown to Biltmore Estate to the Blue Ridge Mountains, we had a fabulous view!
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
My advice for other brides would be to not stress over the little things! At the end of the day, it will all come together. Also, the entire day will flash before your eyes, so be sure to steal ten minutes with your groom during the craziness to really take it all in. Matthew and I did a first look before the ceremony, and it allowed us a sweet moment to ourselves to calm our nerves and just be together before we spent the rest of the day and night in the spotlight!
Danielle and Matthew made every effort to make their planning experience enjoyable and soiree memorable. Two things I love about the planning experience. What will you or have you done to make your planning experience stress-free?
