The best weddings are the ones that are fun and memorable. And let’s face it- the weddings that are the most fun and memorable are those that are unique and have special touches. Whether it’s your favors, escort cards, or a fun spin on your ceremony, it’s easy to add a unique element to your wedding.

My advice on adding uniqueness to your wedding is to consider you and your future husband’s personalities and what you two enjoy doing. Sure, there are tons of ideas on blogs that you can replicate, but you want your wedding to reflect you and your fiance, not someone else’s wedding. Think to what you love and what defines you two as a couple, and you’re bound to come up with something unique for your wedding.

A little example: my husband and I love to cook, so we gave small bottles of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar as our favors. A couple who are both architects could “build” their table numbers into their centerpieces, or journalists could use an old typewriter for guests to type message to them for their guestbook.
Unique elements are what can really make a wedding. They’re what will make your wedding something your guests will have a blast at and remember for forever, and they make for awesome pictures too! (And if you want your wedding to be published in any way, shape, or form, special, unique touches are imperative!)

When thinking of unique elements to add to your wedding, keep this in mind: the best unique element is one that guests will enjoy and have fun with- basically something that they will notice, and thus remember for forever! And of course, make sure your wedding reflects you and your future husband’s lives and personalities!
If you have (or had) any unique ideas for your wedding, share with us in the comments! Or if you need help coming up with one, share a little about you and your fiance, and we can brainstorm with you!
