Ryann and Alan’s blush and gold Florida wedding design put a beautiful new twist on this classic color palette. We love all of the modern details- from the acrylic signage to the ghost chairs, and every detail on the sun-drenched patio was absolutely stunning.

Elleson Events created the most beautiful and romantic blooms that complimented the elegant design so perfectly, and the images captured by Trenholm Photo exude the warmth and beauty that was evident throughout this Florida winter wedding.

And the details. Oh the details! You know how we feel about seating charts, and this one does not disappoint. The gold detailing on the acrylic signs created a look that was not only incredibly chic, but also provided a gorgeous welcome for guests into this glamorous celebration.

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

I would have to say that the person who helped me most through the planning process was my wedding planner Roxanne from PartyRox of Naples. She was there for me every step of the way no matter the task at hand. She was heaven-sent.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

For me the most important factor on deciding on whom to work with was really two key things. One that we connected on our first meeting with each other, this is a big one for me because a lot of people can be great at their job, BUT the person who is great at their job and can build good relationships with their client is a big thing for me. The second thing would have to be communication; communication is crucial.

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

I really used a lot of social media (Pinterest, wedding blogs, Instagram, you name it…) to get some of my inspiration. We had been engaged for three years before we got married so I had a lot of time to gather a good understanding of what my likes and dislikes were. The details were the most fun part for me. I really thought about the details and had a great team behind me. No one ever told me my idea couldn’t be accomplished. As for the design I have to hand it to Elleson Events on that one, she does a phenomenal job at event design, it was everything and more that I had thought it would be!

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

Wow, this is hard picking only one favorite moment! I guess my favorite moment about our wedding was that our loved ones were there to witness us get married and that everyone had an amazing time. That was very important to us, that everyone that we have been close with at one time or another through our journey together was there on our wedding day. Also, that mostly everyone was up dancing and having an incredible time was great to see as well! I just had to stop dancing one point, grab Alan, walk to the top of the stairs and watch everyone, what an awesome sight!

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

The best piece of advice is taking a little time after the ceremony to be alone with your new husband! Alan and I took our own cocktail hour, which couldn’t have been a better idea. (Thanks to Roxanne) It allowed us to catch our breath, really take in the day, and have about 30 minutes to spend as newlyweds! Roxanne brought each of us our favorite drink, a plate of appetizers and we were golden. This might be a favorite moment as well! 

I just love Ryann’s advice for other brides. Taking time after the ceremony to let the events of the day sink in, and to relish in that moment before you’re swept away in the party ahead, oh man, it just gives me all the feels!

Extra special moment? When Ryann’s sister sung her toast to the couple. We love sweet details like this that make a couple’s wedding day ultra personal with sentimental moments that will be remembered for years to come.
