Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?

I can't help but seeing my style as a little bit of all four! As a designer, I work with all different types of brides & grooms with all different kinds of styles. I love getting to know them and their personalities so I can create something that they will truly love to share on their special day.

What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?

Naturally, the invitations & paper products are one of my favorites. But besides that, I also love seeing all of the personal details that shows off the bride & groom's personality and makes their wedding unique. And I can't help but love a photobooth with a cute backdrop and fun props! :)

What is your favorite store or brand?

Like my design style, it's a little bit of everything! From Anthropologie to Target, with a mix of boutique stores, craft stores, and any cute antique shop.

What advice do you have for a newly engaged couple?

Remember to take time to ENJOY being engaged! Preparing for your wedding can be overwhelming, and it's so easy to get caught up in the planning process. Secondly, don't be afraid to be different. These days there aren't any rules when it comes to your special day. Let your personalities shine through and enjoy the best day of your lives!

What is your favorite thing about weddings?

Where do I even begin? I love everything about weddings! I adore when couples do a first look -- I remember when I got married, all of the excitement and emotion leading up to that special moment! I'm also a sucker for all of the little details and I can't help but appreciate a gorgeously styled dessert table! But ultimately, the idea of two people falling in love and starting the rest of their life together is simply beautiful.

What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?

I truly listen and try to get to know each one of my couples. I love hearing their inspiration and ideas and then translating them in to design. The invitations are the first peek a guest will get in to their wedding. It will represent such a special day, and I strive to design a piece that the bride and groom will absolutely love!

What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?

I try to make it as easy and as stress-free as possible. And hopefully fun! Inspiration boards, timelines, email updates, and keeping things organized from start to finish are key parts of my design process. And most of all, I love helping my clients develop their vision and delivering a final product that brings it to life-- it's one of the highlights of my job!
