Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?
I believe the images I create are timeless and will always remain beautiful as trends come and go.
What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?
My favorite wedding detail is always the brides ring. Not only is it a symbol of commitment, but I feel as if I can see a bride’s style through her ring.
What is your favorite store or brand?
Target! I know this sounds like every other basic girl, but I am literally roaming target weekly if not daily.
What advice do you have for a newly engaged couple?
My advice would be to focus on growing a beautiful marriage. Our wedding plans are SO important, but you will want to look back on them holding the hand of the person you married. Without a strong marriage, none of the plans matter.
What is your favorite thing about weddings?
My favorite thing about weddings is being a part of someones life. These two people aren't just at another photo session. They are just at the beginning of something beautiful. I've photographed couples who return to have their babies photographed down the road, and that is the most beautiful thing to me. To be a part of a growing story.
What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?
I actually have my Bachelors Degree in Counseling! I try to communicate well so that you aren't ever questioning anything. This can also help when the bride is overwhelmed, I am known for asking everyone to give the bride some time to herself and then playing a good song to help her relax. I also LOVE people. Throughout the day, I feel like I become another bridesmaid and I love that.
What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?
I believe in being present. I am there with you getting ready, I am there right before you walk down the aisle, I'm there when you are stressing over a detail, and throughout the day I have helped put on veils, bustle dresses, deliver letters, I'll even be there on the dance floor with you. When you hire me, I don't just view you as another client, but as a new friend.
