Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?
I see myself as classic because my goal is always to produce images that will last a lifetime without ever feeling trendy or tacky. To me, classic means images you'll love just as much on your 50th wedding anniversary as you do on your first.
What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?
I adore all the details! But if I had to choose, it's the bride's jewelry and personal details. Especially when the piece or pieces are family heirlooms, making them not only beautiful, but also incredibly sentimental. A few examples: one bride wore her grandmother's necklace, another wore her mother and grandmother's wedding bands, another a charm bracelet from her father who had since passed away. Those pieces each hold so much emotional value that makes the day even more special.
What is your favorite store or brand?

What advice do you have for a newly engaged couple?
Don't get caught up in what you "should" do or what you find on Pinterest or anywhere else. Take some time to make the day about who you are as a couple and never lose sight of the marriage that starts once the cake is cut and all the guests have gone home. That marriage is what it's really all about!
What is your favorite thing about weddings?
Being welcomed in to witness and the joyful love of two soulmates. The emotions that pour out on a wedding day are so special and I consider it an honor to be by the couple's side to document those happy tears, hand squeezes, and belly laughs.
What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?
I'm highly organized, timely in responses, and care deeply about making everyone feel comfortable and care for when they work with me, whether that be in planning for the day or on the day when they're in front of my lens.
What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?
My number one focus is to get to know my clients well and make sure they feel appreciated and cared for from the moment we meet. I love developing a relationship with my couples. I only take a limited number of weddings each year, and getting to know my couples as individuals with their own unique love story is essential. To that end, I always meet in person or video chat with my couples before they book me for their wedding. So much is lost over the phone - it’s important to me that we see each other before you hire me. I provide several resources along the way to make planning easier: from worksheets to help you choose the best engagement session location for you, to a wedding magazine full of information to help plan for different parts of the day. Most importantly, I work closely with my clients to craft a wedding day timeline that will give them the time they need for the photos they want, without being rushed or stressed. I’m proactive about communication and check in six months before the wedding as well as a week or so before to ensure we’re all set for the big day.
