Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?
What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?
I love capturing wedding details. I think my favorite thing I have photographed is a custom designed invitation suite that had hand drawn silhouettes over the couple and their daughter. The monogram was custom, every detail was so thought out and creative. Details that featured the groom's late father, and they even incorporated their dog in the suite as well. So well thought out, but all done in such a classy way
What is your favorite store or brand?
Old Time Pottery, Magnolia Market, Loft, and J Crew
What advice do you have for a newly engaged couple?
Soak up every minute. Don't be too busy with planning your wedding that you don't spend time with each other. Always put each other first when it comes to what each other wants. Set aside time for a date night even in the midst of the busy season.
What is your favorite thing about weddings?
I love capturing love. Memories that will be shared for generations to come. Capturing moments that will only be lived out once. My favorite moment of the day is when the groom sees the bride for the first time.
What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?
I'm laid back, but am also not afraid to speak up if time is running behind, etc. I'm very easy going, happy, and not easily stressed out.
What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?
I am very detail oriented. I over communicate. I print out all of the questionnaires, timelines, and shot lists before the wedding and study them thoroughly so I will be sure to document the wedding the way the bride and groom wants. I work well with the other vendors involved. I have shot over 200 weddings, so I'm experienced in finding the perfect light, helping pose in the most natural way possible, and am great at coordinating all of the moving parts on wedding day.
