Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?
I definitely wouldn't want to pigeon-hole my style into just one category, as we cater to all styles and personalities for each of our clients. However, I think that there is something to be said for Classic Elegance. I love the idea of timeless weddings, with personal touches.
What is your favorite store or brand?
I love antique stores! There is something so appealing to me about scouring different stores, to find that one special and unique item. I love to include vintage pieces in my home, that have their own unique history and character. And I 100% believe in applying this same school of thought to weddings. I just love when a Bride includes an heirloom brooch on her bouquet or a couple chooses to display a "heritage table" at their wedding, made up of an eclectic mix of past wedding photos of family members.
What advice do you have for a newly engaged couple?
Take it all in and remember the big picture. This is such a special time in a girl's life, so she should enjoy it. I encourage Brides to find a planner and vendor team that really complements her personality and provides a level of trust for her. That way, she can enjoy the collaborative process and be a part of the planning, but not get bogged down in the minute details. Let the professionals handle this. That way, a Bride can truly enjoy her day, live in the moment and focus on the big picture...the start of a new life with your spouse.
What is your favorite thing about weddings?
I love watching the entire day come together, as a celebration of love and life. There is something to be said for the energy on a wedding day. It is palpable. There is something so special about a day that brings together family and friends, to celebrate love!
