Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?
I am a classic girl who likes to have an updated, modern touch! My photography style focuses on the couple and their day, in a classic, timeless way.
What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?
Anything that is personalized and cherished by the bride and/or groom. One of my favorite personalized items was a watch the bride gave the groom on their wedding day. Inscribed on the back was "I love you more than pizza". The bride's favorite thing was pizza - their friends even had it dropped off during their reception for her - so the inscription was sweet and funny!
What is your favorite store or brand?
What advice do you have for a newly engaged couple?
Hire a planner. Budget. Invest in what you think is the most important part.
What is your favorite thing about weddings?
The emotions. I keep my emotions pretty close, so I love when people are not concerned with others seeing their emotions. There’s a lot of freedom in sharing your emotions and it just makes me so happy to be able to preserve it.
What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?
I think my background in the service industry is a big asset to me, along with being a mom. The ability to handle a fast moving day with many variables is important, as is being able to stay focused, and keep my clients' comfortable. A wedding vendor wears many hats on the day of the wedding, and being able to work together with other vendors in a professional and courteous way is extremely important!
