If soft color palettes and sweet Southern details get you excited, you will fall head over heels for this romantic Florida wedding captured by KT Crabb Photography. Like a fairytale on a farm, Emily and Chris couple combined their love for Florida and elegant style into the event of their dreams. Inspired by their venue, Cross Creek Ranch, they created an intimate space filled with dreamy vintage details and lush garden roses. Their color palette is perfect for springtime, combining Pantone’s colors of the year, rose quartz and serenity, with a bright magenta for an extra pop. And we are sure that Cross Creek Ranch’s little chapel is one of the cutest we’ve seen!
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
I worked with Cross Creek Ranch in Dover, FL and they made wedding planning so simple and fun. My wedding day went so smoothly and effortless because of CCR’s incredible team. The Lead Planner, Nancy, was an absolute delight. My entire family loved her to pieces.
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
I chose the all-inclusive route, because I got engaged while I was still in grad school. I simply didn’t have the time to shop for or make centerpieces, decorations, etc. CCR helped me with my vision and selecting vendors. They decorated and coordinated the entire event so me, my husband, and my family didn’t have to lift a finger.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
The location was my inspiration! I chose what I call “a big, Florida backyard” with the most adorable little chapel. I wanted my wedding to feel like an elegant garden event. I also got quite a bit of inspiration from BHLDN. I love that vintage, romantic style.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
I loved having my friends and family around me as we pronounced our love for each other. Everyone was so happy! Also, the toasts by our wedding party and my dad made everyone cry (in a good way).
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
Focus on the reason you’re getting married. Even if something goes wrong, at the end of the day, you’re still with the person you love. Also, don’t let anyone convince you you don’t have time to eat. You paid a lot for dinner; they can wait for you to finish eating!
