This lovely California wedding from Driver Photo has a crisp coral and navy color palette with some absolutely darling vintage details throughout. I especially adore the coral painted shutter with keys that double as escort cards- so cute!
The gorgeous bride, Shasta, is here to share her planning insight with us:
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
The biggest help to me in the planning process was Pintrest! My sister-in-law helped scour the Internet for photos of my ideas and shared them via my wedding board. Three of my bridesmaids lived out of state and two lived out of town so choosing dresses was much easier after sharing on Pinterest.
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
When deciding who to work with for our wedding I looked for excellent customer care, value, and ease in the planning process. I work full time and planning the wedding happened on my days off so I wanted vendors who streamlined the process.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
My inspiration for the details and design of our wedding began with a love of all things vintage! Our home was built in the 1920’s and the Inn where we were married was built in 1910. The details were a nod to elements that were a reflection of both of us; the vintage clocks on the tables for my husband who always needs to know what time it is and the gardenias in the centerpieces remind me of my great grandmothers house.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
My favorite part of our wedding day was having all of our friends and family with us as we committed our lives to each other.
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
My advice to other brides is to hire a day-of coordinator! Having someone take the reigns for you on your big day frees you up to focus on everything else: getting ready, your bridesmaids, and seeing your fiancé for the first time on your wedding day!
Shasta and Mike did such a wonderful job incorporating their personalities into the décor. The awesome clock centerpieces because the groom constantly asks the time? Genius!
How do you plan on personalizing your décor? I’d love to hear your ideas in the comments below!
