Interview
Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?
I believe I was born in the wrong era. My love for anything vintage really shows through in my designs. While also love Classic, I can take a very classic style and still put a twist of vintage charm in the design elements.
What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?
I had a bride ask me to bring the inside outside. I immediately knew what she was asking for. Her home was a DIY masterpiece. So we took everything from her home and created her special look outside for her wedding. I think what made this special for me was knowing what she loved and making it all about her and her style!
What is your favorite store or brand?
Pottery Barn
What advice do you have for a newly engaged couple?
Do your homework and please hire a wedding planner before you do anything else. They can really save you a lot of money and know just where to find what you are looking for. They know who the professionals are and know who to stay away from.
What is your favorite thing about weddings?
Seeing the bride's dreams come to life
What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?
Being a mother and grandmother, I have the experience to know just what our brides and grooms are looking for. I quickly become their "Wedding Mom" and love every minute of it
What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?
I tend to be a nurturer and giver. Yes, I get the can't help its... I love to make my clients happy. So, usually I will go to whatever extreme I can to give them what they want. And sometimes, I surprise them with something they didn't even know they wanted.
