Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?
We're modern-minded and like bold designs and colors but doing them in a classic way that will never go out of style.
What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?
Each wedding has it's own "favorite detail" that is specific to the couple; whether an element that has special meaning such as using a grandmother's favorite flower, or something that is super impactful to the experience like a surprise karaoke after-party.
What is your favorite store or brand?
Our closest is a mix of JCrew and Anthropologie and our home a mix of Crate & Barrel and vintage finds.
What advice do you have for a newly engaged couple?
Honestly, hire a planner. A wedding planner is the best return on investment you can make on your wedding day. From vendor recommendations to design ideas, etiquette advice and even neutral third party mediation.
What is your favorite thing about weddings?
The people! Each event is an opportunity to meet and learn about people I may never have had the chance to meet otherwise. It's an honor to participate in a couple's wedding and to get to know them, their families and friends and to help them enjoy what will be one of the most exciting days of their lives!
What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?
Besides over 16 years of hospitality & event experience, I believe my ability to handle stressful situations and relate to many different types of people help in my work. I also think my creativity and design eye are huge assets to my couples.
What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?
We are very hands-on with our clients and love the little details that make the biggest difference.
