Interview

Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?

I have a classic style. I like to design weddings that have timeless elements.

What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?

I love creating custom and personalized details. My favorite was an invitation suite I designed and had a local watercolor artist paint. I have a copy of it sitting on my desk still!!

What is your favorite store or brand?

Pottery Barn, Anthropologie, Nordstorm, Homegoods, there aren't many stores I don't like

What advice do you have for a newly engaged bride?

Don't lose sight of the big picture and get bogged down in the details. You're starting a new beginning. Hang on tight and enjoy the ride!

What is your favorite thing about weddings?

The father daughter dance makes me tear up every time. I can't help but think of my dad and I at my wedding and one day it will be our girls and my husband.

What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?

I love weddings. I still get excited for all my clients. I am truly honored to be a part of their special day and that makes for a gracious and attentive wedding planner!

What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?

I try to get to know my clients on a deeper and more personal level so that I know them individually and as a couple. This allows me to anticipate their needs and offer suggestion that will get them through with minimal stress and maximum fun!
