Interview

Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?

My style encompasses all of these styles. I like to be versatile. With being a creative individual I like to experiment with certain styles and marry them to create looks that are unique, elegant, natural, modern and on trend.

What is your favorite wedding detail you've ever seen or created?

I created a ceremony program with a small envelope that had a small Kleenex tissue in it. It was a really fun and unique piece to work on and see come to life. I really thought it was a nice touch to such an important day.

What is your favorite store or brand?

I wouldn’t say I’m particularly brand loyal. Being a creative I’m attracted to what I find interesting and unique, old, new, vintage etc. Although I’ve always been partial to Apple products since the 90s! But that’s the designer in me.

What advice do you have for a newly engaged bride?

Enjoy being engaged. Not to stress. You don’t have to do things ‘by the rules’ as far as planning, tradition, etc... It’s your wedding, your only day at this one moment so make sure to make it the way you want and not what anyone else wants.

What is your favorite thing about weddings?

Weddings to me are about families, new families formed, making memories and new memories to follow. I don’t think there’s one specific detail, all of them put together make for an amazing day.

What qualities do you possess that enable you to work well with brides and grooms?

I treat each client individually and focus on their specific needs. No two clients are alike, and no two orders are alike. I love that because it really keeps my creative juices flowing and challenges me when I get custom requests or when Brides have some unique ideas that I would love try on paper - or not!

What steps do you take to ensure that your clients will have amazing wedding days when working with you?

The wedding invitation is the first glimpse of your wedding day. I ensure that the couple’s vision is brought to life on paper and for their guests to be wowed and excited over. This is usually one of the first stages in wedding planning and I try to make it enjoyable, fun and unique for each client.

So excited you’re a vendor! I’m photographing Nicole and Rob’s wedding in July and she told me you did their stationery. I saw a sneak peek and was in LOVE!
