It’s time for another Vendor of the Week! This week I’m sharing the work and insight of Ashley Daniell Photography with you all! A wedding photographer based in the Florida Panhandle, Ashley is the sweetest, kindest redhead that you ever will meet- and her photography is pretty awesome too!
Why do you see yourself as being Modern, Vintage, Classic, or Eclectic?
I love the modern look of photography: unusual angles, candid details, unique cropping. It all tells the story of the couple’s love in a current way, but one that is also timeless.
What is your favorite wedding detail you’ve ever seen or created?
Chandeliers hanging from trees, hay bales for guests to sit, old fashioned sodas in a galvanized tub for guests to sip, lemon and lime water for guests during the ceremony
What is your favorite store or brand?
Ann Taylor Loft, Pottery Barn, Target
What advice do you have for a newly engaged bride?
Enjoy yourselves! Hire a planner who allows you to insert your style and ideas, but that takes the stress out of planning. Planning a wedding can be a truly fun, memorable event – if you let it. Everyone has a budget. Just pick out what is the most important aspect of the day to you and make sure you don’t skimp in that area (or you will regret it later). Oh, and hire a professional photographer! :-)
What is your favorite thing about weddings?
I have two. I love First Looks. The emotion is so much more intense when you see the love of your life dressed for the “big day” for the first time in an intimate setting. It allows a couple to truly take each other in. To laugh. To cry. To immediate hold each other. I just love seeing those moments! And second, I love the moment that the couple turns to the crowd after being announced as husband and wife. There’s this look of genuine happiness (and sometimes relief!). It’s such a fun moment.
