Hey friends! So today I have a little treat for you! Some of you may know my friend Megan of Glamour & Grace. Well a few weeks ago, Megan came over so we could create a fun and beautiful wedding day essentials bag! Megan is sharing a DIY of this ombre dip-dyed bag (seen in the image below) over on her blog today, and I’m sharing the essentials that you will need to fill the gorgeous bag so you’re prepared for your wedding day!

Thursday Tips: Wedding Day Essentials via TheELD.com

Think of your wedding day essentials bag as your “emergency” bag. Smudge on your dress? Cover it up with chalk. One of your bridesmaids has a little tear in her dress? Pull out the sewing kit! If something happens, the items in your bag can be there, ready to come to the rescue. [Note: If you have a wedding planner, don’t fret- she/he will have their own bag (or suitcase or contraption), filled with all of these items plus LOTS more.]

Once you have your adorable dip dyed canvas bag (PS- such a great idea for bridesmaid gifts!), you’ll need to fill it with your wedding day essentials! For the purpose of today’s post, I have included the items that I think are necessary to have by your side for your wedding day. (And when I say “by your side”, I mean in your room while you’re getting ready, and if you can swing it, somewhere close by during the reception too.) To make things easier, I put together a little list for you to refer to so you don’t miss anything important…

These are all items that you can easily get on a trip to the drugstore or grocery store. And you can of course add in other things that you think you might need, like any medications or maybe your favorite perfume. These are all items that will help you out if you’re in bind and you should absolutely have them in your wedding day essentials bag!

Have something to add? Feel free to comment with your additions too! And don’t forget to head on over to Glamour & Grace so you can see how to DIY the dip-dyed canvas tote so you can have a gorgeous wedding essentials bag like this one!
