We’re going “deep” for today’s tip ladies! ;) Think about WHY you’re planning a wedding. We all need the reminder every now and then. You’re so stressed out/busy/obsessed with planning a wedding that you forget WHY you’re even doing it! One of my friends recently wrote a blog post about just pausing for a few moments to realize everything that is going on with your life, and it hit me that doing something like that is incredibly necessary when planning a wedding too. Among all of the wedding planning craziness, it’s quite easy to get caught up in the process, details, meetings, and searching for inspiration that goes along with it. Trust me. It happens. It happened to me!

So today- right now– I want you to stop and just reflect on why you’re planning a wedding.
What was my own reason? To get married and share the rest of my life with my best friend.
So tell me- why are YOU planning a wedding? In the end, what’s it all for? :)

Loved this post, Lauren. I agree that it’s so important to stop and remember WHY. Especially as the day gets closer. I even think it’s a good idea to WRITE IT DOWN–just so you make sure you remember.
My reason–because I wanted to spend the rest of my life with the best man I’ve ever met. But also, we wanted to show our love to our family and friends and show them a good time!
