Inspired by the fresh, bright shades of spring, these pink and yellow wedding ideas are sure to brighten your day! I can attest that I love color any time of the year (my home decor is proof!), so this bright and cheery inspiration is certainly a welcome addition to the pages of ELD. The playful, romantic design by Elizabeth Ulrich Design is perfectly suited for a sweet, Southern bride, and Julie Paisley Photography‘s captures are so going to take your breath away…
From Julie Paisley Photography:
This shoot was inspired by the bright, saturated pastel colors that we love seeing in spring. We chose hues that were bright, crisp and refreshing, just like the season’s first glass of fresh-squeezed lemonade. The color palette of inky blues, vivid yellow and tulip pinks brought a cheerful lightness to this rustic shoot. The florals had a fresh-picked vibe that was loose and playful. With stems placed in vintage glass medicine bottles of varying heights, these arrangements make for a sweet and simple centerpiece solution for DIY brides. To us, the lemon—and a fresh glass of lemonade!—is very symbolic of the first warm days of spring, so the addition of lemons was a must. We worked closely with Angie of Little Rectangle, who customized the paper goods and invitation suite with a bright floral pattern that perfectly matched the look and feel of the shoot. We all loved the print so much that we couldn’t keep these paper goods to ourselves! Angie created a free download for readers to use as they please for invitations, handwritten notes or a beautiful bouquet wrap.
So tell me- are you loving these colors and this sweet, Spring inspired design as much as I am?
