Happy Tuesday everyone! The rustic red wedding inspiration that I have for you all today is actually a gorgeous rehearsal dinner! And even though it’s just a rehearsal dinner, the details and design would be amazing for a wedding too! Mary Rosenbaum Photographs captured it beautifully…

Mary Rosenbaum described the evening for us:

Bride and groom Austin and Steve traveled from Maine to her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee to celebrate their wedding with friends and family. The weekend kicked off with a rehearsal dinner in the backyard of Austin’s longtime family friends, who also happens to be wedding planner Denise Sikes. Denise and her team at Big Events accomplished an elegant but relaxed feel by keeping it simple. Bold linens from La Tavola (pattern twitter in brown) contrasted with crimson napkins for a strong color palette to match the season. A nod to their state, tables were named after bodies of water from the State of Maine, and guests read their seating assignments off a hand-painted window. Local food favorites catered to give it a hometown feel for the bride Austin ~ Satco Mexican food, a margarita machine, and Marble Slab ice cream for dessert. Italian lighting strung the backyard to set the mood for the opening celebration of their wedding weekend.

I love the colors… and those table numbers are AWESOME don’t you think?!

So will any of you be having a rustic red wedding and drawing inspiration from this rehearsal dinner?

Loved the ambiance created by Big Events Wedding. The crimson table cloths really pulled the look together nicely. Great hometown feel.

What a great idea writing info on the windows. That would have been perfect for my wedding or my brothers. We both got married in my parent’s back yard.
