Rustic Intimate Blush and Yellow Wedding

Rustic, intimate, and full of fun- Jenna and Mark’s blush and yellow wedding was everything they wanted it to be… plus it’s gorgeous too! Of course Heather of LVL Weddings and Events had a hand in making everything happen perfectly, and Nick Radford captured everything beautifully. Jenna is here with us today sharing some of her wedding insight:

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

My planner was definitely the most helpful, always quick to answer my (many) questions. Pinterest and etsy were also helpful for brainstorming decor ideas.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

The most important thing to me when deciding who to work with for my wedding was finding someone I trusted and felt comfortable with. There are so many moving parts in a wedding that my day would have been ruined if I had to worry about all of them falling into place. I needed someone who I knew would take care of everything, so I could just concentrate on enjoying my big day!

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

My husband and I wanted a very rustic and intimate feel for our wedding. Our venue was perfect because it was someone’s home but also a working farm, so it gave us the intimate feeling we were looking for and also the rustic decor.

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

It’s too hard to pick one favorite thing! If I had to choose, I would probably pick our personalized vows as my favorite part because it was so meaningful to have such a personal moment but also be surrounded by all of our favorite people.

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

I think my best piece of advice for other brides is to ask for help, whether it be from a planner, from friends, or from family. It’s just way too much for one couple to do all on their own!

Oh I love Jenna’s advice! A wedding really is a lot of work- no one should have to do it all on their own!
