This rustic elegant inspiration shoot from Julie Roberts Photography, The Ribbon Cutters, and a few more Tennessee wedding pros is absolutely gorgeous! Lorie of The Ribbon Cutters shared some insight into her inspiration for this shoot:
The inspiration for this photo shoot was nature’s elements. The natural outdoor setting of the wood barn on the grounds of Dara’s Garden was the perfect backdrop for a contrasting, sophisticated tablescape. We used metals to add a touch of glamour and softened the look with natural elements like the bird nest placeholders and a beautiful centerpiece with feather accents. I loved the idea of using copper and Robin’s egg blue, so I played off the color palette with other metallic colors such as the bronze overlay, brass bird candle holders, gold chargers, an antique tea set with a great patina and antique silverware. Using ivory touches throughout helped soften this palette with bone china, ivory napkins, paper lanterns and ivory cupcakes. The result was a perfect marriage of rustic style and elegance.
Pretty fabulously gorgeous if you ask me! :) A big thank you all of the vendors who participated in this rustic elegant shoot! Now readers, tell me- are you planning a rustic wedding? Maybe for this fall? What kind of rustic elements are you including?
