Celi and Rob celebrated with their nearest and dearest friends and family at Gilbertsville Farmhouse in September 2015. Their New York wedding was nestled in the countryside, and the pair worked alongside Ashley of C & A Event Planning for just over a year. Celi opted for bright bouquets for herself and her bridesmaids, the girls wore emerald green cocktail dresses, and I love that Celi’s gown had pockets! The couple incorporated vintage wooden pews for their ceremony, which was complete with a lovely view. And I love their reception space – a classic wooden barn accented with bistro lights, chandeliers, and bright blooms – which guests walked to just after the ceremony.
Thanks so much to Ashley for planning such a beautiful day and Foto Impressions Studio for capturing every detail so we can share each with you!
One of the best decisions to make while planning your wedding (aside from marrying your future spouse, of course!) is to host your ceremony and reception at the same location. It removes the need for transportation between both events because guests will likely be able to walk from your ceremony to your cocktail hour at your reception. The transition is almost always seamless, plus it allows for more time to celebrate!
