Today’s romantic, european inspired wedding ideas are absolutely breathtaking. You see, wedding planner Cassie of Flaire Weddings has a love affair with all things European (and we’re certainly not complaining). She adores traveling to France and after her last visit, she wanted to produce an inspiration shoot that showcased a European, organic aesthetic for brides in the US.
Naturally, she started by turning to the Epping Forest Yacht Club, an Italianate mansion in Jacksonville, Florida- the ideal location for this inspiration. Next she enlisted photographer Carissa of The Graceful Light to photograph the shoot using 35mm film. Cassie crafted lush florals that incorporated tones of pale pinks and ivories, and used blooms such as David Austin Garden roses, Japanese Pieris and spray roses to convey a European look and feel. Hand lettered place cards on marble tiles adorned the placesettings atop a grey velvet linen, draping the table in a nod to European royalty of a bygone era.
We love how this inspiration demonstrates that it’s possible to achieve the chateau or villa look without traveling “across the pond” and we can’t wait for you to take in all of the beauty!

In LOVE with those linens. The light color doesn’t make it feel heavy, but it certainly has more weight fitting for a fall or winter wedding. Using different textures in your table design is a really simple way to elevate the design overall.
