Set among the beautiful Catskills of upstate New York, these red and yellow eco-friendly wedding ideas from Alexis June Weddings and Cyrience Photography are just as lovely as the scenery that surrounds them. Wanting to display eclectic, eco-friendly and sustainable ways to incorporate florals and decor into a farm-style wedding, this team came up with some fabulous ideas. Foxglove Floral Design used seasonal florals from local growers, including fresh-picked wildflowers and berries, and even re-purposed window frames as a tabletop to keep things sustainable. And gorgeous eco-friendly wedding inspiration was the result…
And we even have a beautiful film from Love + Brain films:

From the team:
The latest inspiration shoot from the creative minds of Foxglove Floral Design, Alexis June Weddings and Cyrience Photography focuses on eclectic, eco-friendly and sustainable ways to incorporate florals and decor into the ever-popular backyard and farm-style wedding. To showcase some new ideas, we used seasonal florals from local growers, including fresh-picked wildflowers and berries. The re-purposed window frames add dimension to the table decor, allowing for less linen to be used and less harmful dry-cleaning of this linen. Jessica and Justine from Foxglove even included a DIY project, recycling wine bottles into water glasses! Being a late-summer wedding inspiration, we were excited to go with a “Naked” cake that will hold up better to heat and humidity. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to showcase all of these details than Straw Hill Farms, nestled in the Catskills region of New York state.
I just love all of the ways that they made things eco-friendly and sustainable, but yet everything was still absolutely gorgeous! Proof that if you want your wedding to be eco-friendly, you don’t have to worry about not being able to have a beautiful wedding!
Are any of you doing anything to make your wedding more eco-friendly?
Vendors who made it all happen…
