Today I have a Pro Insight post for you all from a Florida-based photo booth pro, Smiley Face Photo Booths! Photo booths are SO much fun to have at your wedding- I know many of you probably want one, right? Well, Smiley Face Photo Booths has stopped by to share some of their pro insight that will definitely help you out!
Want a photo booth at your wedding? Here are a few questions that you should ask a potential photo booth vendor:
• Is your Photo Booth modern? {visually appealing and current technology}
• Is your Photo Booth an open air concept? {can you fit more than 2-3 people}
• Do you print ONSITE?
• Are you Licensed and Insured?
• How do you differ from your competition?
• Do you provide an Attendant at the event?
• Are you able to personalize the photo strip?
• What type of Props are provided?
• How are the Props displayed?
Why should you care how the props are displayed you ask? PRESENTATION! It’s a huge part of a photo booth, and many don’t even realize it!
Let me ask you this: Would you allow your florist to just drop your centerpieces in the middle of each table? No way! Then don’t accept anything less from your photo booth vendor! Would you rather have the props displayed nicely and neatly on a trendy hat rack, glass rack, and other fun containers OR just everything thrown into a rubber bin and placed on a table? Your guests will be more likely to have fun with the photo booth if fun things are out in the open for them to see. It’s all about presentation! Peruse photo booth vendors’ websites, photo galleries and social media pages to view true photos from other events and you will also be able to see the quality of their props and setup.
With so many choices, it is very important that you feel comfortable with your Photo Booth Vendor and we always suggest that you speak to LOCAL business owners rather than a national company. The LOCAL business owners are dedicated to their market and their livelihood depends on their reputation. And remember- don’t just choose the cheapest! You get what you pay for!

I totally agree with this post! Great article. We like to put our “On-a-stick” props in vintage coke bottles or mason jars, all surrounding a vintage suitcase with glasses and boas hanging off the open lid, and other props inside.
