Wow, I don’t know about you, but this week is FLYING by! Good thing we have an “extra” day this month!! :) Well, at least it’s Wednesday, because I am absolutely IN LOVE with this wedding I have for you all today! Planned and designed by the amazing Lindye Galloway Events and photographed by Gabriel Ryan, it is just FILLED with amazing details and gorgeous shots! And with a location like the St. Regis Monarch Beah, overlooking the ocean… as I like to say, oh my GORGEOUS! :) Oh and let’s not forget that the lovely bride Brooke was a reader of Every Last Detail while she was planning her wedding- so in addition to fabulous details, you KNOW she’s going to have some excellent planning insight too! Let’s see for ourselves, shall we?

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

Well, my lovely coordinator, Lindye Galloway really helped me in the final 3 months before the big day. Also my trusty guide – The Knot – Book of Wedding Lists. I’m a big list maker, so having a book that combined them all together for me was a great organizational tool. My Mom was there for emotional support and helped keep me cool, calm, and collected. And last but not least, my bridesmaids and many of my girlfriends really stepped up and helped out with numerous crafts and last minute details. They allowed me to feel SO relaxed on my wedding day…I’ve never felt so loved.

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

Friendly, down to earth people who would be honest with me AND budget savvy. Everyone I worked with ended up being all around good hearted people. Which made me feel so at easy on my wedding day…it was like I had friends running the show!

Did any of your vendors do anything special for you before, on, or after your wedding day that you would like to share?

My hair and make-up girls at Lashes to Locks stayed after the ceremony and acted as personal assistants to my photographer – which made for a fun and beautiful photo shoot during cocktail hr!
Also, our videographers Kelley & Paul at 618 Studios got our wedding video done incredibly fast and delivered it to us via email while we were still on our honeymoon! It was so cool to re-live our special day while we were in Italy!!

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

I don’t think I can pick just one thing… our friends and family all being in one room together, my dad’s emotional speech, the weather, the view, the shabby chic decor (much of which came from our own home), our dessert table, our sparkler exit and the beautiful classic car waiting for us….THE PHOTOBOOTH! {oh, and marrying my boyfriend of 10 years}

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

EAT at your wedding (and before it), you will need the carbs and energy for a night of dancing and fun! Set aside 15 minutes to eat and really enjoy that time sitting next to your new husband. Take in the view of the room together – seeing all your family and friends mingling and having fun makes all the planning stress worth it!

Thank you so much for all of your great wedding insights Brooke! And thank you to Lindye Galloway for putting together such a gorgeous wedding and to Gabriel Ryan Photographers for capturing it all so beautifully! :)

I am absolutely LOVING the centerpieces- the flowers, the table numbers, the mason jars and milk glass. And the fact that it’s still so chic and just absolutely GORGEOUS! So are you LOVING this shabby chic wedding as much as I am?! What’s your favorite detail?
