When Thorne & Thistle is involved, we always know it’s going to be gorgeous. This organic wedding inspiration is no different- in fact, it’s completely taken our breath away! A color palette of lavender and blue mixed with greenery creates the most beautifully elegant design. A hint of vintage appears in tabletop pieces, and bold touches of black add in a bit of chic style. Words really cannot do this look justice, so I’ll let the images captured by Jennie Tewell do the talking!
From Jennie:
“When Lisa contacted me about photographing the shoot, I knew immediately it was going to be amazing. We wanted this shoot to be different. We wanted to plan it around the Pantone color of the year, but with a little twist. That was Lisa’s main inspiration. We also wanted it to showcase the beauty of the gorgeous Fort Conde Inn in Mobile, Alabama. The black and white tiles on the front porch were another element that we wanted to incorporate with the shoot. We tied in the tiles by adding black ribbon to the bouquet, black shoes, and some black for the groom’s details. After we finished shooting at Fort Conde Inn, we traveled to Daphne, AL to get some sunset shots on the beach. The blue from the bride’s dress matched the water perfectly and was a such a wonderful way to end the shoot.”
