Taking place in beautiful Seaside, Florida, this chic navy and orange wedding is overflowing with personal details and tons of fun! What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
I loved searching the web for inspiration & ideas it was so fun (and helpful) to see blogs, magazines, and articles detailing beautiful weddings with personal touches. The inspiration was so helpful, and Arden and Jen at It’s A Shore Thing and Sally at Florals By The Sea helped execute all the details to perfection.
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
Ensuring you have someone you trust, it’s so reassuring to know you can step back and enjoy the day not having to worry about the details.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
I wanted a mix of natural, classic and modern. Since we were at the beach and our wedding was a destination event…I wanted a casual fun affair.
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
Enjoy the details, we got married in four months – so I was limited in time – I loved making quick decisions, inspired by the things I loved. Pick what makes you happy.
Aw, I love that Megan recommends to enjoy the details- that’s a first I think! But it’s important, especially when you’re choosing to have details that are intentional and representative of you as a couple.
I don’t know about you, but I’m loving the orange and navy color palette! This wedding is a perfect example of using bold colors in a gorgeous way. Are any of you going to be using bold colors like this orange and navy? I’d love to hear what your colors are!
