Inspired by vineyards, wine, and the region of Tuscany, these tuscan inspired wedding ideas are full of rich color, beautiful light, and the most stunning landscape surrounding Tucson’s Skyline Country Club. Lindsay Bishop Events combined greenery, candlelight, and shades of blush and marsala create an intimate, elegant design perfect for any time of year, and Pure in Art Photography captured it all beautifully!
Tucson Styled Shoot from Serendipity Cinematography
From Lindsay Bishop Events:
When Michelle of Skyline Country Club approached me to collaborate on a styled shoot at her gorgeous venue, I couldn’t have been more ecstatic! Over the past year, there have been a number of beautiful styled shoots and weddings published showcasing Arizona’s desert. While our desert is gorgeous, there’s so much more to Arizona than just cacti. I really wanted to take a different approach; to take an opportunity to highlight some of Arizona’s other features, and Skyline Country Club was the perfect setting to do just that. Many people don’t know it, but south of Tucson we have some wonderful wineries!
So, Tina of Pure in Art Photography and I took inspiration from the Tuscan hillside, the gorgeous Tucson city views, and the Pantone Color of the Year, Marsala (because, how can you pass up a color named after a wine, when you’re doing a wine-inspired shoot?). Posh Petals adorned our birch wood ceremony arch with an asymmetrical garland filled with gorgeous dahlias and hanging amaranthus, mimicking hanging grapes on a vine. The bride’s bouquet incorporated the wild feeling of vines with pretty ferns and greenery, and the rich red tones are contrasted by enormous peach peonies. The bride wore a two piece gown by Tara Keely with a full, dreamy tulle skirt, which proved to be perfect when we were surprised with gusts of wind throughout the day. The blustering wind turned her clean and classic updo into a soft, romantic, and piece-y look, and Tina proved that a little weather can sometimes create the perfect amount of magic for a bride and groom who are able to go with the flow.
I love the placesettings, and the way that the color red was used so elegantly. And of course anything inspired by anywhere in Italy is amazing in my book- it’s my favorite place!
